WHAT IS DIRECT PRIMARY CARE?
Direct primary care, or DPC, is a direct relationship between a patient and physician where the doctor works directly for the patient. This relationship removes the middleman of insurance, which means no co-pays, no deductibles and no surprises. Available to a limited number of patients for an affordable monthly membership fee, Align DPC offers a more convenient approach to primary care.
In a DPC model, the patient is provided with unlimited direct access to their primary care provider.
In addition, physicians have more time for each patient and can address multiple problems in one unhurried visit. Flexible, open schedules reduce unnecessary ER visits - patients can be seen when they are actually sick. When medically appropriate, care can be managed over the phone or via text, email and/or video without an office visit.
DR. ADAM BARRAGAN, D.O., OWNER
Dr. Barragan created Align Direct Primary Care in order to provide the best, unrestricted care possible where each patients' goals are the first priority.
Using the DPC model, Align DPC patients receive superior care as the practice limits the number of patients accepted to 10% of the volume of a traditional primary care practice.
This allows Dr. Barragan to deliver a high level of access, convenience and individually-tailored support to each patient.

OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE
Doctors of osteopathic medicine believe that all the systems in the body work together and affect each other. Also called an osteopath or DO, these doctors focus on the body, mind and spirit as part of one interconnected system.
A doctor of osteopathy practices osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM), a type of medicine that includes hands-on treatments. DOs have special training in healing the musculoskeletal system, but they’re licensed to treat the full range of health conditions.
DOs don’t just treat symptoms. Using a holistic approach, they focus on you as a whole person to find out what’s causing your symptoms.
